Bougainvillea’s are a collection of paintings by Julie Vatcher inspired by a holiday on Rhodes. The backgrounds to these paintings is fluid art using lots of lovely gold to represent a stone wall. The flowers are hand painted using rich reds, with a heavy shadow cast by the sun, the flowers almost look 3d.
