This is the third little painting in my Badlands Collection. A 20 x 20cm canvas in a black floating frame that measures 24 x 24 cm. Unlike the first and second one, I wanted this one to be so much simpler, which isn’t easy because I have to control the amount of paint used. I such a big fan of negative space and in this painting I have managed to keep just the right amount. The use of rose gold plays such a large part in this collection, giving a slight warmth to what would otherwise be black, white and silver. I love the little bush drawn with pen and ink, just at the right angle to give the mearist hint of a breeze. To buy this painting click here
