Introducing ‘New Horizons’. I love a dramatic, stormy seascape and this 30 x 40 cm deep edge canvas is packed with detail. A mix of fluid art and brush work, with thick impasto marks in the sky to the spray of water on the waves. It’s called ‘New Horizons’, because it’s the first in a series of paintings working from a straight horizon line. The mix of greens, phthalo turquoise and paynes grey, make an unusual colour palette for me but I think they blend together beautifully.
