The Colour of Snow. I am so pleased to be presenting this 30 x 40 canvas depicting a winter snow scene. A collaboration with my good friend and artist Chris Schnieder, the theme was ‘The Colour of Snow’.  I wanted a dark foreboding sky, that looked heavy with snow and a reflective base of subtle pastel colours, using Extreme Sheen paints by DecoArt gave me a reflective icy look to the foreground. Trees and brush work finish off a subtle snow scene with a delicate fragile atmosphere. The colour of snow actually reflects all the colours around it, our eyes just see it as white!
