This painting was actually the first of my new winter series and inspired the last 2 paintings that you have seen on YouTube. A 40 x 50 deep edge canvas. I love the simplicity the ‘bleakness’, I love how your eye puts in the snow when actually there is only white negative space. A simple sky using only a few colours has some lovely effects and a simple tree which brings the whole composition together.
